The XQi 400 and XQi 500 make their official debut at EICMA 2025, representing NIU’s continued development within the off-road and dirt segment.
At the center of the lineup is the XQi 500 Street, an L3e street-legal electric dirt bike delivering 28.8 kW of peak power and a top speed of 110 km/h. With a lightweight chassis weighing 92 kg, the model is designed for riders seeking high performance in both on- and off-road environments. The XQi 400 and XQi 500 are expected to reach European markets in the second half of 2026.
NIU is also updating its existing XQi3 platform, which will be relaunched as the XQi 300. The refreshed model includes performance and feature upgrades, further expanding the company’s off-road product offering.

To support its expanding product range, NIU is offering new subscription plans for the NIU Smart App. All newly registered vehicles include three years of complimentary app access. After this period, riders can select from three subscription options, starting at €2.50 per month.
The plans provide continued access to connected features such as navigation, vehicle tracking and smart diagnostics, maintaining integration between NIU vehicles and the digital platform over the long term.
