NIU Continues Its Innovation Journey at Motorräder Dortmund 2026
Following a record-breaking year in 2025, NIU continues its strong growth trajectory at Motorräder Dortmund 2026. Alongside targeted model updates, one key highlight takes center stage: the German premiere of the all-new FQiX, first unveiled in 2025 at EICMA in Milan.
With the FQiX, NIU opens a new chapter in its design language. The model series presents a sportier, more progressive, and distinctly urban look, appealing to a younger, tech-savvy audience. At the same time, NIU stays true to its core DNA: smart connectivity, solid build quality, and everyday practicality.

A New Benchmark in Its Segment
Technically, the FQiX positions itself as one of the most advanced vehicles in its category. At its center is a 5-inch TFT color display, providing a clear and intuitive overview of all essential riding information.
Complementing the display is the NIU Link Crown — an integrated handlebar control unit that allows riders to manage vehicle settings, media functions, and navigation directly from the cockpit.
Powering the FQiX are removable 72V 28Ah lithium-ion batteries, delivering a range of up to 150 km. Combined with seamless NIU App integration, riders benefit from comprehensive connectivity features including real-time vehicle status tracking, smart ride data analysis, and enhanced security functions.
Two Versions, One Clear Vision
The new FQiX will be available in two variants:
- FQiX 150 (L1e) – 45 km/h class
- FQiX 300 (L3e) – 80 km/h class
Pricing starts at €2,399, with market launch scheduled for Q3 2026.
With the German premiere of the FQiX at Motorräder Dortmund 2026, NIU reinforces its commitment to innovation, design evolution, and smart electric mobility — continuing to shape the future of urban transportation in Germany and beyond.
